The main purpose of the Manchester Crime Prevention Panel is to support the Police and help the public, by referencing crime reduction techniques and awareness.

Guidance is provided through the Home Office via their 'Green Book' documentation.

Our Story

The Manchester Crime Prevention Panel was created around 1967 following Home Office introduction as the first formal partnership guidance between the business community, local community & the Police.

Our crime prevention panel is made up of around 22 members with leadership from the Police, the appointed Chair-person, Secretary and vice and deputy chairs from the membership.
