Regional Manager Global Corporate Security, UK Northern Division and Ireland

Mike has been with BNY Mellon since August 2005 and is responsible for the management of security for the UK North, Scotland and Republic of Ireland regions.

Prior to joining BNY Mellon, Mike was an Operations Manager for a private security company based in London, while managing a large portfolio of security contracts for a number of blue-chip organisations in Canary Wharf and Central London.

Prior to joining the security sector, Mike completed 22 years’ service with the British Army achieving Warrant Officer rank as an Infantry Company Sergeant Major and Regimental Training & Operations Warrant Officer, while his service consisted of several operational tours of Northern Ireland, 2 tours of the Falkland Islands & South Georgia and also served in Bosnia with the United Nations during the war in the Balkans.

Mike completed a number of UK and overseas instructor posts and also served as an instructor at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst while training Officer Cadets on the British Army Commissioning Course for Regular Army Officers.

Mike was awarded the Greater Manchester Police ‘Business Watch Coordinator of the Year Award’ in 2009 and also received the Divisional Commanders Commendation, in recognition for support to the police service.
